Understanding Long-Term Care in Retirement and Ways to Protect Yourself

Time & Location

Nov 11, 2025, 5:30 PM – 6:30 PM

Midpointe Library - Liberty Branch, 6716 Yankee Rd, Liberty Township, OH 45044, USA

About this seminar:

As life expectancy increases, so does the need for long-term care, and the potential financial impact it can have on your retirement. Without proper planning, long-term care expenses can quickly erode your savings and place a significant burden on you and your loved ones.

This educational seminar is designed for pre-retirees and retirees who want to take a proactive approach to planning for future care needs. You’ll gain a clear understanding of the long-term care landscape, including the types of care available, who typically pays for them, and what options exist to help protect your income, assets, and peace of mind.

In this seminar, you’ll learn:

  • The different types of long-term care and what they actually cost

  • The common misconceptions about who pays for care (Medicare vs. Medicaid vs. personal funds)

  • Planning strategies to help protect your retirement assets from unexpected care expenses

  • The pros and cons of long-term care insurance, hybrid policies, and alternative solutions

  • How to create a personalized plan that supports your health, lifestyle, and financial goals

If you’re looking for clarity, not a sales pitch, this seminar will provide the education and insight you need to start planning with confidence.
